It has been announced by ACS/Uni-Fab, part of Atkore International, that the ten AWG Modular Wiring System designed to supply power to every fixture down the line in suspended ceiling lighting and high and low bay fixtures, is now available.

ACS Motion Control releases a software suite that significantly reduces or eliminates the need for user interface development and maintenance. Designed for high precision laser processing equipment, SPiiPlusSPC (smart processing commander) software provides complete machine control.

A laser control module has been developed by ACS Motion Control which enables direct control of the laser source to deliver precise laser micro-machining and increased throughput. The LCMv2 Series EtherCAT slave module provides a wide range of functions including digital pulse modulation for dynamic power control. 

ACS Motion Control has developed software that allows its motion control solutions to be used as subsystems on TwinCAT controlled EtherCAT networks. Utilising a Beckhoff or ESD EtherCAT Bridge, a TwinCAT EtherCAT network can connect to an ACS EtherCAT network, enabling data exchange between the two EtherCAT networks.

A line of motion controllers and EtherCAT masters, comprised of a powerful processor and two EtherCAT ports supporting ring topology, has been released by ACS Motion Control. Claimed to expand the capabilities of new and previously installed SPiiPlus controllers and EtherCAT masters, the SPiiPlusEC is high performing, yet economical. 

Optimising the efficiency of motion control systems, an advanced 3rd order look-ahead trajectory generation algorithm has been introduced by ACS Motion Control. The algorithm maximises system throughput, increasing acceleration, smoothness and velocity, while minimising motion induced vibrations and disturbances. 

ACS Motion Control has introduced the NanoPWM switching PWM servo drives which are suitable for applications including 450 and 300mm semiconductor wafer inspection systems, high resolution OLED flat panel display handling and inspection machinery.

ACS Motion Control have today announced a new control module and EtherCAT master. The SPiiPlusCMhp/ba module is targeted towards OEMs of advanced machines with high-precision 2- or 3-axes motion stage and flexible configurations with additional axes and IOs.
