Industrial lighting for dark-field illumination

In regards to image processing, the choice of the right illumination is essential. The sentence 'Good illumination, good machine vision' should be a reason to think thoroughly about the right illumination for the machine vision task ahead. With the EyeLight series, EVT provides industrial lighting for almost every application, including a selection of dark-field illumination, such as the EyeLight LLA series. These are available as RGB model or in...

Colour vision system enables inspection of colour codes on ampules

A colour vision system for inspection of colour codes on ampules to detect deficient products and prevents cross-contamination has been announced, the EyeSens ColorRingCode (CRC). A characterisation with applied colour rings is for example sometimes used to prevent mix-ups with other products, when there is yet no label on the product. The hardware of the EyeSens ColorRingCode consists of the well-proofen EyeSens vision sensor. These se...

A sensor for the inspection of filaments

EVT presents the EyeFI – the sensor for the inspection of filaments. The sensor contains of two cameras with an Aptina sensor and an S-Mount lens. The cameras are perpendicular to each other. It is therefore possible to inspect two sides of the filament, which means that the EyeFI can detect if the filament is out-of-roundness. Additionally the errors and defects can be detected.
