Developer's kit aids test instrument development

New Scale Technologies has launched developer’s kits for its tiny M3-LS Linear Smart Stage that are available at distributors Digi-Key and Mouser. The M3-LS Linear Smart Stage is a direct-drive, high-precision micro stage built for fast, simple integration into miniature OEM systems. Closed-loop positioning is achieved with an integrated absolute encoder with 0.5 µm resolution.

Reduced-Voltage Linear Motor System Receives US Patent For New Scale

New Scale has announced today that it has received a U.S. patent for its reduced-voltage miniature piezoelectric motor and drive system, capable of operating directly from battery voltage as low as 2.3 VDC.
