M/A-COM Tech has today announced the introduction of two new transimpedance amplifiers for 100GbE ROSA and 100G DP-QPSK applications. The MATA-002902 is a 28Gbps Dual Chanel Limiting TIA, ideal for 100G Ethernet ROSA (28 Gbps x 4) receivers. This amplifier operates from a +3.3V power supply and has a typical bandwidth of 21 GHz.

Available as a die, it features automatic DC offset compensation while the input current ranges from 0.05mApp to 2.5mApp.

The MATA-038032A is a Dual Channel Differential Linear TIA with AGC for 100G DP-QPSK (32 Gbps x4) receivers. Each channel has differential input and output. The MATA-038032A offers both manual and automatic gain control modes; in manual mode the gain can be controlled from 200Ohm to 5.0KOhm differential via an external pin. In automatic mode, the gain is automatically adjusted to provide a constant output voltage. The TIA provides a linear amplification for current levels from 0.1mApp to 2mApp differential and has adjustable bandwidth between 17 and 25 GHz.

These two new products extend our portfolio of transimpedance amplifiers. M/A-COM Tech’s goal is to have market leading products for all 100G receiver applications,” said Ray Moroney, Business Development Manager

Production quantities and samples of the MATA-002902 and MATA-038032A are available from stock.
