A new world of laser power measurement

The first series of wireless laser power meters will be presented by Gentec Electro Optics at the LASER World of PHOTONICS trade show in Munich. The product line combines a detector and a Bluetooth-enabled metre unit in a convenient, all-in-one product. Using the free Gentec-EO BLU app, measuring results can be displayed on both iOs and Android smartphones.

Do you prefer to use it with a PC? Plug in the Bluetooth receptor that is included and prepare to make power or energy measurements within seconds.

The BLU series makes laboratories and production floors safer, reducing the number of obstructive cables. Operators are now able to measure laser power in enclosures and hardtoreach places from safe distances. Depending on environment and barriers, they may be up to 30m from the detector. Service technicians will also profit from the new BLU series’ integrated monitor, thus having to carry less instruments.

Like all Gentec-EO products, the detectors of the BLU series are exceedingly robust. Ranging from mW to kW, all the company’s popular laser power detectors are available with the BLU option. In Germany, Austria, Scandinavia, France, and parts of Eastern Europe, Gentec-EO products are exclusively distributed by LASER COMPONENTS.

Experience the BLU Wireless series live at the LASER COMPONENTS booth B3.303.
