DC/DC constant current LED drivers integrate an EMI filter
A series of buck-boost type DC/DC constant current LED drivers, featuring 300, 350, 500 and 600mA models, has been released by MEAN WELL. The LDB-L/LW series of potted module type LED drivers operate from a 9 to 36VDC input with a 2-40VDC output range.
An EMI filter is integrated within the drivers, allowing compliance with the EN55015 lighting standard without the need for additional external anti-electromagnetic components. Measuring 31.8x20.3x12.2mm, the LDB-L/LW LED drivers are suitable for street lighting, landscape lighting, tunnel lighting, household lighting and backlighting.
The devices operate from a -40 to +71°C temperature range and have an efficiency of up to 91%. Short circuit and over temperature protections are offered with the LDB-L/LW series. The drivers’ IP67 design and UL 94V-0 flame retardant plastic case make them suitable for use in harsh environments.
