To address a growing need for flicker-free LED drivers for indoor use, MeanWell has developed the ODLC series of LED drivers, with ratings of 45 and 65W. The devices, available at Emtron electronic, are based on the constant current source principle and have a built-in active PFC function.

The two models of the ODLC family were developed together with the product families IDLC (plastic housing) and IDPC (board) and share the same electrical characteristics. In the ODLC series, cables are already fixed. In operation, the drivers achieve an excellent efficiency of up to 88% and meet the international safety standards for LED lighting UL 8750, ENEC EN 61347-1, -2-13 and GB 19510.1, 14.

The standard version has a built-in 2-in-1 dimming function. In addition to the standard version, variants with a 12V / 50mA auxiliary output are also available for supplying additional sensor and control tasks. This allows the designers of LED lighting systems a greater flexibility in the design of their systems.

The devices of the ODLC family are suitable for flicker-free LED luminaires, such as indoor LED panel lighting or LED floodlights.
