LED pilot light provides uniform illumination


Global provider of indication and specialty illumination solutions, VCC, has launched a high-performance LED pilot light that uses advanced light diffusion lens technology to eliminate hot spots and offer uniform illumination. The IP65-rated PCL22 series is designed for industrial and critical applications where indication is vital, a wide viewing angle is required, and lamp replacement is difficult or costly.

The 0.88" (22mm) LED Pilot Light offers simple installation and integration into a wide industrial control and retrofit panel mount applications. Resistant to shock and vibration, the water tight LED pilot light is also commonly used in transportation dashboards; maritime instrument panels; oil and gas instrument panels; slot, gaming and vending machines; safety and emergency applications; and control cabinets.

The PCL22 series is available in five single colours including red, green, white, blue or yellow and in bi-colour red/green.

"The new PCL22 series features a unique diffused translucent lens to offer consistent light output across the entire indicator lens. This is vital in applications where communicating with light is an essential aspect of human and machine interaction," said Sannah Vinding, Director of Product Development and Marketing at VCC.

The PCL22 Series has screw terminal and Double 'D' mounting hole to prevent rotation. Offered in 12 and 24V versions, the PCL22 series is compliant with CE, CCC, RoHS and REACH requirements.
