As a part of the 2014 Conference, LIGHTFAIR International (LFI) will stage two Forums focusing on healthcare and hospitality lighting trends and technologies. LFI Healthcare Lighting Forum and LFI Hospitality Lighting Forum take place June 3-4. LFI 2014 will also feature an expanded trade show floor offering attendees the broadest product selection in the history of the show.

The Forums will begin on Tuesday, the first day of the LFI trade show, with dynamic keynotes, an engaging panel and a must-attend reception. On Wednesday, each Forum will feature five 90 minute seminars presented by industry experts, including a Lunch & Learn seminar. Participants of both Forums will join together to attend the keynote presentation - “The Wellness Revolution: The Next Driver of the Lighting Industry” - by Dr. Michael Roizen, chief wellness officer at the Cleveland Clinic and the Honorable Richard Gephardt, former United States Congressman and House of Representatives Majority Leader, president & chief executive officer of Gephardt Government Affairs.

The LFI Healthcare Lighting Forum seminars will feature global trends, patient room lighting, case studies, evidence-based design, a hospital panel, energy efficiency and healing environments of the future. The LFI Hospitality Lighting Forum seminars will cover collaborative design, hotel and restaurant renovations, storytelling through lighting, LED retrofit savings and lighting strategies for hotels and convention centres.

The LFI 2014 product mix includes more than 40 categories with integrated design, alternative energy and solar power, OLEDs, healthcare, hospitality, digital signage and software showing significant growth from 2013. The expanded categories will give attendees broader and deeper access to products and technologies from more than 500 exhibitors including new exhibitors.

The trade show is accompanied by the largest Conference in LFI’s 25 year history. More than 170 speakers from diverse disciplines have been selected to cover a broad spectrum of educational topics. The 2014 program will contain 81 course offerings. A concentrated emphasis on integrated design in the exhibit hall reflects the new focus for the Conference on integrated design and four theme areas: Inspiration, Technology and Tools, Problem-Solving and Integrated Design.
