To meet the demands high-end industrial applications, Mikrotron has introduced a 25MP digital camera. The EoSens 25CXP features high resolution, fast frame rates and global shutter technology, making it suitable for precision quality control in the production of flat screens and PCBs.

The high resolution in which the camera provides is also suitable for particle image velocimetry, 3D measurement and surface inspection. The camera is offered with the CoaXPress real-time data interface, which provides data transmission rates of up to 6.25Gbit/s with a single-core cable and up to 25Gbit/s with up to four cores. Data transfer is performed using only one cable, at transmission distances of over 100m. The cable supplies power to the camera and provides communication with, and control from, the PC which enables easy integration in processes.

The EoSens 25CXP camera has a resolution of 5120x5120px, guaranteeing a frame rate of 80fps. 880fps can be delivered in full-HD, while 100,000fps can be delivered at reduced resolution. Ensuring the highest image quality, the integrated global shutter enables all pixels to be exposed at the same time and at an exposure time as short as 1μs. High application flexibility is provided by the continuously variable composition of the image field. This is in regard to position and resolution. A 10-bit colour depth and a 53db dynamic range is provided by the camera. Offered in a 80x80x53mm and a robust package, the camera is suitable for use in tight spaces and can be integrated directly into processes.
