CMOS sensor enhances scientific camera efficiency

Scientific cameras supplied by TUCSEN are now available at ALRAD IMAGING. The range includes the Dhyana 400D which is equipped with a brand new scientific CMOS (sCMOS) sensor, providing 70% quantum efficiency at 550nm. The 1.2in sensor format with 6.5 x 6.5um pixel size is most suitable for microscopy imaging using the standard C-mount.

Line Lasers for Machine Vision Offer Improved Performance

ALRAD is pleased to announce the introduction of a new range of diode-laser based line generators which deliver enhanced flexibility, output optimization capabilities, and extended lifetimes. EMCCD cameras available from Raptor Photonics

Alrad Imaging has announced Raptor Photonics now offer a newEMCCD camera Merlin EMCCD Camera with a CameraLink or GigE output. The ME247-CL (monochrome) and ME246-CL (colour) cameras offer a standard CameraLink output inside a compact housing, designed for demanding security, industrial or scientific applications. In order to support GigE output, Raptor also offers a standard adaptor box from Pleora, which converts CameraLink data to GigE data.

Industrial Colour Borescopes from Alrad Imaging

Alrad Imaging has introduced two new industrial Colour Borescope. The STC-IC310USB-1 is a flexible USB based borescope. The flexible probe end is 1.5 meters and the unit features a self contained adjustable LED light source. This camera plugs straight into a computer via a USB port. The image is displayed on the computer screen.
