CamSemi launches first PSS controller to use advanced BJT drive scheme

CamSemi has today announced recent advances in the company’s bipolar transistor drive scheme and the first of a new generation of Primary Side Sensing controllers to exploit these developments. The new C2172 PSS controller will enable manufacturers to develop what the company believes will be the industry’s lowest cost, most energy-efficient BJT-based solutions for mobile phone chargers and other universal input applications rated to 6.5 W.

CamSemi targets ‘constant power’ C2283 controller at low cost networking adapters

CamSemi has launched the C2283, a novel high performance Primary Side Sensing flyback controller with a unique constant power mode. C2283 has been designed to offer fast load pull-up of electronic products with high input capacitance, such as modems and other networking devices, but is also ideal for set-top boxes and other high volume, energy-efficient universal input adapter applications rated above 8 Watts.

CamSemi moves into LED lighting with new driver ICs
