USB 3.0 stereo vision camera supports stereo WVGA at 60fps

  The launch of Tara, a USB 3.0 Stereo vision camera has been announced by e-con Systems. Tara is based on the 1/3-inch MT9V024, a WVGA Global shutter monochrome CMOS image sensor from OnSemi. The Tara supports Stereo WVGA (1504x480) at 60fps over USB 3.0 in uncompressed format.

Connect a webcam to your Android device

e-con Systems has developed a USB camera application for Android smartphones and tablets. Webeecam supports any camera that conforms to the USB Video Class (UVC) specification which includes an array of off-the -shelf webcams. This makes your USB camera portable and allows you to instantly share the captured images using any social media applications.

BLE stack for Windows Embedded Compact 2013

A BLE stack for Windows Embedded Compact 2013 has been released by e-con Systems. Windows Embedded Compact 2013 did not have any support for BLE 4.0 thus far. The stack is intended to provide considerably reduced power consumption, size and cost while maintaining a similar communication range as the classic Bluetooth. In many cases, the BLE stack makes it possible to operate the devices for more than a year without recharging.

USB3.0 camera provides 13MP images & allows choice of lens

E-con Systems has announced the launch of its See3CAM_CU130, part of the See3CAM family of USB3.0 UVC compliant cameras. The See3CAM_CU130 is based on AR1820HS CMOS Image sensor from Aptina Imaging and is provided with the S-mount (M12) lens mount that enables customers to choose a lens of their choice.

USB 3.0 cameras support NVIDIA Jetson TK1 DevKit

e-con Systems' See3CAM USB 3.0 cameras now support the NVIDIA Jetson TK1 DevKit for image processing or computer vision applications. The See3CAM family of USB 3.0 cameras are UVC compliant and don't need any special drivers to be installed on the PC or the host side. This is an important feature that enables the customers to use these cameras on almost any platform.

CoM suits IoT & cloud applications

Based on Freescale’s IMX6 processor, the eSOMiMX6 CoM has been introduced by e-con Systems. The ready-to-use SoM utilises Quad, Dual or Solo ARM Cortex A9 Processors running up to a speed of 1.2GHz. The device features eMMC Flash with a capacity ranging from 4 to 64GB, and a 64-bit LVDDR3, with a capacity ranging from 256MB to 2GB.

Monochrome USB 3.0 camera features interchangeable lenses

e-con Systems announces the launch of its See3CAM CU51, part of the See3CAM family of USB3.0 SuperSpeed cameras. The See3CAM CU51, based on MT9P031 Monochrome CMOS Image sensors from Aptina, is provided with the S-mount (M12) lens mount that enables customers to choose a lens to match their specific requirements.

USB 3.0 NI cameras supports 720p at 60fps

Supporting 720p at 60fps and a resolution of 1280x960 at 45fps, the See3CAM_12CUNIR camera solution has been released by e-con Systems. The small form-factor pluggable solution, which is part of the See3CAM family of USB 3.0 SuperSpeed cameras, houses the e-CAM10_CU0130_MOD with M12 lens mount.

Barcode scanner is compatible with any Windows OS platform

Spica, a barcode scanner application which is compatible with any Windows OS based platform and any Direct Show camera, including Windows embedded, has been released by e-con Systems. The application supports both 2D and 1D barcodes. While the supported 2D barcodes include AZTEC, Datamatrix and QR Code, the 1D barcodes include Codabar, Code 39, Code 128, EAN-8, EAN-13, UPC-A, UPC-E, UPC-E1, 128-A, 128-C, Interleaved 2-of-5 (IFT) and Ext39.

USB 3.0 SuperSpeed camera with changeable lenses

Expanding the company's See3CAM family of USB3.0 SuperSpeed cameras, e-con Systems has announced the See3CAMCU50. The camera is suited for customer applications where the flexibility for choosing a lens is required. See3CAMCU50 can be used in medical devices, such as digital microscopy, dermatology, low vision products, surveillance, video analytics and patient monitoring systems, kiosk, OCR and video conferencing.

5MP full HD MIPI camera support for Wandboard

e-con Systems announces the e-CAM51IMX6 5MP Full HD MIPI Camera Board for Wandboard. This low power complete computer is based on the Freescale i.MX6 Development Board. The Wandboard is an open source project built around the ARM Cortex A9 powered Freescale i.MX6 CPU and the e-CAM51IMX6 interfaces directly to the CSI-2 MIPI interface on the Wandboard.
