Joining Philips Lighting’s SR (Sensor Ready) certified programme, is smart lightning start-up, Gooee. The programme lists companies, components, sensors, and control systems that are certified to work with Philips Xitanium SR driver. Partnership in the SR certified programme is open to sensor manufacturers and network application providers who meet the SR criteria.

Attending this year’s EuroShop, the largest retail exhibition in Europe, IoT start-up Gooee will be in hall 9 stand a73. Here delegates, visitors and exhibitors are able to experience its ‘full-stack’ IoT ecosystem as the first manufacturer previews a Gooee-powered IoT platform for lighting. 

  Smart lighting start-up Gooee has extended its international reach to South America by partnering with the Lumicenter Lighting Group, the Brazilian provider of conventional and LED lighting solutions. This partnership will enable Lumicenter to integrate and further develop Gooee’s IoT-enabling technology within its lighting products.

The Connected Lighting Innovation of the Year category at the Lux Awards 2016, has been awarded Gooee, the enterprise Internet of Things (IoT) platform designed for the LED lighting sector. The judges cited its ‘extraordinary toolbox of technology’ as ‘ahead of its time in both scale and ambition.’ 

  Gooee has signed a partnership agreement with Leedarson. The alliance will enable both parties to share knowledge and expertise in smart lighting technology, and develop the smart hardware needed for the world’s first ‘full-stack’ ecosystem to connect lighting OEMs to the IoT.

Gooee has partnered with EnOcean to integrate BLE based self-powered wall switch modules into the Bluetooth Smart Mesh stack, the primary communication protocol in Gooee’s enterprise IoT ecosystem. The collaboration will result in the first EnOcean-powered wall switch device integrated into the Bluetooth Smart Mesh protocol, the next evolution of the low power communication protocol that becomes available at the end of 2016.

Gooee is using the Frankfurt Light + Building 2016 exhibition for the European preview of the world’s first ‘full-stack’ lighting ecosystem. An interactive demonstration on its stand will offer delegates the chance to fully experience the key end-user benefits of luminaire products that feature ‘Gooee Inside’ including Environmental Intelligence, Human Engagement and Product/ Asset Tracking.
