Infrared camera captures colour video in pitch black

Sharp has developed the industry's first infrared colour night-vision camera capable of capturing colour video in pitch-black (zero lux) environments, the LZ0P420A. The infrared colour night-vision camera will be marketed to corporate customers such as security camera system manufacturers.

Panel accepts simultaneous inputs from multiple styluses

Sharp has developed a touch-panel system that allows multiple handwriting pens (styluses) to be used simultaneously to input text and lines in varying colours and thicknesses. Sharp aims to quickly commercialise the system, which represents a handwriting input method for interactive whiteboards. Handwritten input from a particular stylus can be selected and deleted as desired.

First Single Point LED Lighting Array With Tuneable Colour Output

Ismosys, Sharp Microelectronics’ pan-European sales & marketing representative, has begun sampling the latest addition to the company’s innovative Zenigata family of chip-on-board (COB) LED lighting arrays. Sharp launches 15 inch initiative with industrial displays

Sharp presents a new generation of its Mini Zenigata LEDs

The new product generation is again based on a small plate made of technical ceramics (aluminium oxide Al2O3) with the dimensions 15mm x 12mm x 1.6mm. Efficiency was able to be improved by up to 11% due to technical progress. The new generation of 4 and 7W arrays is characterised by four properties: Compact, light, economical and noticeably brighter than before.

These TFT-LCDs include two panels in the 10.4-inch class, one 12.1-inch panel re-issue, and one 15.0-inch panel.
