Laser diodes for material processing & laser cutting applications

The low noise LD15CHA, the newest addition to the Wavelength laser diode driver line, offers modulation bandwidth, and power for materials processing, industrial laser cutting, and laser diode bars / stacks. The small laser diode driver delivers 15A output current up to 28V. It meets laser compliance requirements from 3V with a single 5V supply, and up to 28V with an additional 30V power supply.

Low noise laser driver lowers detection threshold

Electronic noise from Quantum Cascade Laser drivers has long limited the detection threshold of chemical sensors. Addressing this issue, patented low noise technology is available to both researchers and developers as Wavelength introduces the QCL LAB family. These instruments couple a touchscreen display with low noise drive electronics that drop detection thresholds up to an order of magnitude.

Temperature Compensated SAW Oscillator from Q-Tech

Q-Tech has been the leading manufacturer of high reliability hybrid quartz crystal clock oscillators for many years. PLD12500 – Smaller Package, Higher Performance

Wavelength Electronics has redesigned the PLD10000 with a new compact heatsink and fan shroud, and improved internal heat dissipation capability. This technology has also been leveraged into a high-current driver, the PLD12500, that can drive up to 12.5 amps. Both the PLD10000 and PLD12500 are mounted on printed circuit boards.
