Plessey has announced that it will be exhibiting at the LuxLive event from 18th to 19th November at London's ExCeL arena. LuxLive is Europe's biggest annual lighting event. Plessey will be showcasing its latest GaN on silicon LED solutions. This year, LuxLive will be co-located with Strategies in Light and the combined event will feature the best from the entire industry supply chain, ranging from chip manufacturing, through to design and end user applications.
The event programme will cover key sectors that are moving towards solid-state lighting solutions, including retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, commercial, street and industrial lighting. Plessey will be demonstrating a number of lighting solutions designed around its award-winning GaN-on-Silicon technology. This will be the second year exhibiting for the UK-based LED manufacturer. Plessey has continued to invest in and improve its manufacturing capabilities in key critical areas elevating the MaGIC LEDs above all available LED technology.
Giuliano Cassataro, LED Sales Director, Plessey, said: "We have the technology and supply chain to provide mass customisation of lighting solutions for manufacturers in all segments in the lighting market. This allows the significant environmental, reliability and quality of light benefits from a state of the art LED light engine to be realised in any application. Whilst there is overcapacity in the low and mid power market, there is insufficient supply in the fastest growing markets of high power and super high power LEDs. Plessey's recent capacity expansion of its Plymouth facility, combined with its differentiated technology where integration of intelligence and optics is possible, is the direction that LED lighting is headed and we will be showcasing this integration of solid state lighting solutions at LuxLive."
Plessey will hold product demonstrations presented by technical and design experts at stand E26, providing an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of its latest products and solutions for the commercial, industrial, consumer and wearable lighting segments. LuxLive will open 18th November, 9am to 9pm, and 19th November, 9am to 5pm. The show is free to attend with tickets available through the event homepage: http://luxlive.co.uk/.
