Gooee, the creator of the world’s first ‘full-stack’ IoT platform, reports significant interest in its smart-ecosystem following LuxLive 2015, one of Europe’s most popular lighting shows. Throughout the two-day exhibition, Gooee took centre stage with professional actors performing eight interactive shows, designed to demonstrate how its technology operates in various environments to the end-user’s benefit.
It was also the venue where Gooee’s CCO, Jan Kemeling, announced its new partnerships and associations with five OEMs, bringing the total number of companies with the ability to develop ‘Gooee Inside’ product ranges and assess the potential of the IoT for the lighting industry to seven.
Jan says the performances were enthusiastically received: “We held meetings with many lighting manufacturers and all showed a keen interest in our technology. The response over the past week has been extremely positive. In demonstrating the full capabilities of our technology in a simple and effective way, we are increasing OEMs’ and users’ understanding of the power of Gooee technology. We are currently in talks with over 40 companies – a number we expect will increase following our recent exposure at LuxLive. We are excited about the future, and the chance to work with best-in-class OEMs to help them realise the future capabilities of lighting.”
Also making an impact at the exhibition was Gooee’s Chief Technology Officer, Simon Coombes, who spoke to a large audience as a part of an accredited panel of experts discussing the topic ‘The IoT: should we believe the hype?’.
The next stop for Gooee is the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, the world’s gathering place for consumer technology companies, taking place from 6th to 9th January 2016.
“We can continue to meet companies who display a significant interest in our technology, sharing our knowledge and experience to ensure an even greater uptake of lighting manufacturers to connect their products to the IoT,” concluded Kemeling.
