Debuting at the recent “LASER World of Photonics” show in Munich, LASER COMPONENTS has announced the arrival of new 1270nm laser diodes, extending the range from Seminex to 1270 - 1700nm. Studies and trials have demonstrated that 1270nm serves to enhance immune response to vaccines whilst avoiding side effects such as soreness, inflammation, erythema and tissue damage that are often associated with chemical adjuvants.

Extending beyond vaccination response, 1270nm has also found application is generating different forms of oxygen in water. Photoactivation in the ground state of oxygen through this irradiation serves to create singlet oxygen - a high energy form that can be used in preparative organic chemistry and photodynamic therapy. These highly efficient and powerful sources are available today - we look forward to discussing your specific requirements.
