Expanding the ZM18 family of machine vision lasers, Z-LASER has released the ZM18S3, ZM18H3 and ZM18DM53. Improved power stability across the full temperature range is enabled by the driver electronics. The ZM18H3 series, which includes blue and green emitting laser diodes, features automatic power control. According to the company, performance is not affected by temperature increase or decrease and the lasers do not experience degradation.

Compared to the 1kHz offered by the preceding ZM18S series, the ZM18S3 series provides a higher modulation frequency up to 500kHz. For the intensity adjustment, the series also offers a higher resolution.

The series’ of machine vision lasers also provide higher optical output power. The blue spectrum offers output up to 160mW at 405nm, while the near-infrared offers that up to 200mW at 830nm.
