The SSW60Q (V-36060SSWQ) LED driver from SwitchTech can provide up to 60W on two independent output channels. At the same time, all 60W can be utilised on a single channel or any other combination. It is suitable for large indoor installations such as office, retail, hotel or conference rooms and special applications. It is also suited for demanding lighting needs in all locations.

Quick connection terminals and tool-less pull stops for independent mounting, ensure that installation is quick and simple. Primary- and secondary-side are located on opposite sides to separate low voltage cables from 230V cables in an installation.

Extensive DIP switches allow the same LED driver to drive all commonly occurring LEDs where each output channel can be set individually and in 32 different CV/CC modes. The driver has few limitations on load configuration possibilities, only limited by the maximum voltage 60V and maximum current of 2,600mA per channel. This means that SSW60Q is optimal to use for everything from 12VDC (60W) LED strips to fixtures operated on 2,600mA for OEM applications.

A software connection tools is also offered for customers to use a standard PC for setting special driver currents, voltages or a wide range of custom functionality. LED driver SSW60Q executed in revolutionary new digital technology is the first product of the next-gen LED driver and has been developed entirely in Sweden.

Built with digital technology, the size of the product is optimised in a way that has never been possible before. This enables a very compact physical size of only 142x52x28mm. Generation-wise, the SSW60Q can be compared with the step from the manual screwdriver to the electric screwdriver.

The new digital design implies several advantage for digital LED drivers due to characteristics of the Softswitcher platform such as the driver design using less hardware means less weight and smaller physical size of drivers and enhanced utilisation of electrical components leading to higher efficiency (up to 90%) over the entire output range means increased energy savings.

The design also features improved power factor up to 0.98 means less energy waste and higher system efficiency and synchronised and dynamic adjustment of switching patterns in the driving circuitry results in overall reduction of unwanted EMI-disturbances.

There is less stress imposed on (fewer) hardware components providing the drivers with an impressive life time of 100,000 hours. Intelligent software using MCUs enables control options including 0-1/10V, DALI, DMX, phase-cut control and remote controls such as WiFi, Zigbee, Bluetooth etc.

Scalable technology with customisable features means shorten time-to-market for new projects and easy customisation. Custom drivers in low volumes and with short lead time made possible by reprogramming using software tool.
