Suitable for applications that require a high output voltage to drive long LED strings, RECOM has introduced the RACD100A series and RACD150A series LED drivers. These high-power, constant current devices support dimming via PWM or 1-10V signals and are fully IP67 sealed for outdoor as well as indoor applications.

A wide input voltage range of 90-305V AC enables the LED drivers to be used worldwide on 115, 230 and 277V AC supplies for applications including high power area lighting as well as car parks, warehouse or security lighting. The RACD100A series and RACD150A series LED drivers feature full load operating efficiencies of more than 93%, low total harmonic distortion of 15% and active PFC with power factors exceeding 0.98.

The RACD100A series offers constant output currents of 1400 or 700mA at voltages of 50-142V; while the RACD150A series provides constant output currents of 1400, 1050 or 700mA with voltages of 60-210V. UL8750 and EN61347 certified, the LED drivers comply with FCC and European EMC standards and come with a full five year warranty. Additionally, both series are fully protected against short circuit, overload and over temperature conditions.

“The RACD100A and RACD150A series combine the market demands for high voltage outputs, dimming functions and compact sizes to target applications like high bay lights and street lighting. Due to our co-operation with NXP, both series are “Green Chip” recognized for high efficiency, low THD and high power factor,” commented Steve Roberts, Technical Director, RECOM.
