Two enclosed AC/DC power supplies have been released by Mean Well. The first, the HSP-300, is a 300W device which is available with outputs of 2.8, 4.2 and 5VDC. The power supply can be directly applied to R.G.B colour mode sign panel applications and next-gen low voltage driver ICs. Measuring 210x81x31mm, the device is both easy and cost-effective to install.

The company’s second power supply is the HSP-200, which is a 200W device available with outputs of 4.2 and 5VDC. The power supply can be directly applied to next-gen low voltage driver ICs and measures 210x62x31mm, making it equally easy and cost-effective to install. Both devices feature a circuit design topology which provides a more energy efficient solution, reducing overall cost.

The fanless power supplies, which have a voltage input of 90-264VAC, feature built-in active PFC. Operating across a temperature range of -30 to+70°C, the devices provide an efficiency of up to 87%. Leakage current is less than 1mA, while output voltage can be trimmed by ±10%. The power supplies, which are offered with short circuit, overload, over voltage and over temperature protections, are UL, CUL, TUV, CCC, CB and CE approved. Offered with a three year warranty, the devices are suitable for indoor and outdoor LED electronic signage, LED moving signs and LED TV walls.
