LED technology is a durable and energy-efficient solution for lighting roads and objects. By means of the PTF butt connectors from Phoenix, two flexible PCBs can be connected quickly and easily in 24V applications operating at currents of up to 10A. Featuring a total height of just 4.2mm, 2- and 4-position versions are available. PTSM PCB terminal blocks with a height of just 5mm are used for applications with operating voltages of up to 320V and 6A.

Thanks to their overall width of just 37mm, the BLT-T2…-320-UT surge protective devices for LED applications can be installed both in the connection box in pylons and directly in the lamp in front of the ballast. Due to the increased insulation, usage in LED applications in protection class II equipment is easily possible.

For grounded systems, a protective device with PE connection is available. The status of the protective devices is indicated directly on the devices. Via the L connection, the signal is transferred to the lamp. If the surge protection disconnect device is triggered due to overload, the light switches off as well. Servicing and routine inspection of the surge protective devices are therefore much easier.
