Dialight Introduces Industry First Class I Div 2 LED Fixture Delivering over 100 Lumens per Watt

Dialight today announced the debut of the industry’s first-ever 100+ lumens per watt (lm/W) Class I Div 2 certified LED lighting fixture. The new SafeSite LED High Bay delivers up to 17,500 lumens at just 172W for the ultimate in safe, efficient illumination in hazardous locations. Such hazardous location applications include: oil, gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, power generation, wastewater, sewage treatment facilities and other sites requiring UL-844 standards.

The new Dialight SafeSite High Bay is the most recent addition to the company’s growing line of ultra-high efficiency 100 lm/W products. The company unveiled its 100 lm/W non-classified DuroSite® LED High Bay in February.

Designed to significantly reduce total cost of ownership as a replacement for up to 400W conventional HID lighting fixtures, all of Dialight’s SafeSite High Bay fixtures feature a universal voltage range of 100-277VAC, 50/60Hz to 347-480VAC 50/60Hz, a T5 temperature rating and a corrosion-resistant finish.
