Dialight has introduced a glass protection film as an option to the SafeSite LED High Bay range for improved safety in hazardous areas. It is particularly suited to food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries, where the prevention of glass contamination within the product lines is of paramount importance.

With a thin, clear plastic film added to the exterior surface of the glass lens on the SafeSite LED High Bay, food industries can be reassured that glass contamination will not occur. If the glass lens suffers damage from any external impact, any small fragments of glass will be contained within the film, avoiding any health and safety issues and possible production line closures.

The easy to clean SafeSite LED High Bay is resistant to harsh and dusty environments and operates in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +65°C. In addition to this, the range is backed by 5 or 10 year full performance warranties and is L70 rated for more than 100,000 hours.

The ATEX/IECEx certified SafeSite LED High Bay with protective film glass lens is available from 150W to 270W, and delivers between 9,500 lumens and 21,000 lumens, ensuring superior illumination, maximum energy efficiency, optimal safety and peace of mind.
