Heatsinks provide a thermal resistance of up to 0.5°C/W

Designed for high wattage LED lighting applications such as flood lights, the Igloo SS series of stamped heatsinks has been released by GlacialTech. Offered in 100, 150 and 200W power ratings, the heatsinks are available with or without heat pipes. Heat pipe models are suitable for high power CoB LEDs, while non-heat pipe models are suitable for lighting fixtures with multiple CoB LEDs or Metal Core PCB LEDs.

The Igloo SS heatsinks, which provide a thermal resistance of up to 0.5°C/W, feature a rectangular profile to fit modern LED powered rectangular bay lights or spot lights. The heat pipe models measure 240x140x78mm (100W), 240x210x78mm (150W) and 240x280x78mm (200W), while the non-heat pipe models measure 240x140x78mm (100W), 240x210x78mm (150W) and 240x280x78mm (200W). On request, the number of fins and the base mounting pattern can be customised.
