Claimed to be more cost-efficient to use than two mid-power LEDs of comparable total output power, the Hi-Power SYXEM Micro-08 LED has been released by CONTOC. The FC LED is both small and powerful, providing a brightness of more than 16.000lm/cm² in a 1.075x0.825mm footprint. With an overall height of 0.75mm, the device emits light from five sides. At 350mA, the LED delivers a light output greater than 95lm/W.

Allowing the use of smaller-proportioned cooling elements, the LED features a thermal resistance of less than 4°C/W. The device is suitable for applications which require high light quality and colour accuracy, offering a CRI (Ra) of more than 95 and an R8 value (saturated red) of less than 80.

With a CCT range of 2700-6500K, the LED operates from -40 to +85° C. Within a 2-step MacAdam ellipse, the Hi-Power SYXEM Micro-08 LED can be customised.
