LED panel mount indicator reduces inventory cost

A watertight IP67-rated LED panel mount indicator with an optical low-profile lens has been launched by VCC. The PML50 series panel mount indicator with FlexVolt technology features a built-in bright LED that provides uniform illumination for applications that require consistent identification and communication through light. The PML50 series achieves full brightness in microseconds - even in daylight viewing conditions.

The ruggedised PML50 series FlexVolt indicator can be used with voltages ranging from 5-28VDC circuits, which reduces inventory cost and opens up unlimited design opportunities.

Offering a long operating life of 100,000 hours, the PML50 series is designed for equipment often exposed to harsh environments including vibration, extreme temperatures, humidity, shock (dirty power), dust/dirt, fluids, and more. Typical applications include automation & control, gaming & vending, industrial, maritime, oil & gas, people movers, safety & emergency, transportation and wastewater & treatment.

"When equipment demands accurate identification and recognition regardless of external conditions, the PML50 series LED panel mount indicator ensures bright indication and communication," said Sannah Vinding, Director of Product Development and Marketing, VCC.

The LED indicator is available in five single colours including red, green, white, blue and yellow. The PML50 series is also offered in bi-colour versions including red/green with a clear lens for increased contrast between on and off.

The PML50 series LED panel mount indicator has a panel hole diameter of 0.688" (17.5mm)
