Dialight today unveiled its latest innovation in LED street and area lighting. With up to 96 lms/Watt, the new StreetSense boasts among the highest efficiencies for an LED street light available today. With options ranging from 2,300 lumens (24W) to 8,275 lumens (88W), Dialight’s new LED street light provides improved light quality compared to incumbent fittings. Key optical management allows it to deliver precision light placement along with maximum energy efficiency and reliability to provide a street lighting solution with economical cost of ownership over the lifetime of the fitting.
Designed and manufactured in the UK and carrying a ground-breaking 7-year full performance warranty, the new IP65-rated CE marked luminaire is designed for easy change-out from existing fittings to help local authorities and commercial property owners to reduce maintenance costs as well as meeting sustainability and energy efficiency goals. Encompassing either two or four modular LED light engines, and designed for side entry or post top installation using an innovative integral pole mounting clamp, the compact and practical StreetSense consists of an aluminium sliding housing containing plug-and-play control gear and is designed for the fitment of a NEMA photocell.

“The StreetSense’s industry-leading light output is prime evidence of our unparallelled expertise in designing and manufacturing LED luminaires,” said Dave Richardson, Chief Executive EMEAA at Dialight. “As a result of our skills in thermal management and optical configuration, this street light ensures maximum energy efficiency, but it also brings the advantage of being future-proofed. Its modularity means that, by replacing a module with one interconnect rather than replacing the whole luminaire, it can be upgraded for even greater efficiency as this fast-moving technology moves forward.”
