To offer higher colour quality, EVERLIGHT ELECTRONICS are upgrading the 3-50W ceramic COBs within it's JU series and the metal PCB COBs within it's XUAN series. The company's Natural Light Technology, which provides a CRI up to 98Ra, is to be integrated into the LEDs.

With the Natural Light Technology, EVERLIGHT's LEDs provide higher colour quality than others on the market. These LEDs include incandescent/halogen which provide more than 95Ra, T8 linear fluorescent (75-85Ra), compact fluorescent (82Ra), standard metal halide (65Ra) and standard HPS (22Ra).

The aim of LED lighting manufacturers is to achieve a CRI of 100Ra. This is a light quality that can emulate the ultimate reference of the sun and bring sunlight indoors, sustain sunlight during the night and replace traditional incandescent and halogen lamps.

In the fourth quarter of 2014, the Natural Light Technology will be integrated into EVERLIGHT's remaining LEDS, which currently provide a CRI of more than 80Ra.
