VCC has introduced several new series of based LEDs designed to serve as drop-in replacements for outmoded T1-3/4 and T3-1/4 incandescent lamps in a wide variety of applications, including aerospace, automotive, commercial, consumer, industrial, medical, safety, and transportation.  Available in a range of base designs, including wedge, bayonet, midget flange, and midget groove, and featuring average lifespans of 100,000 hours, all of VCC's new based LEDs exhibit extremely high brightness with low current draw and low heat generation, in addition to considerable resistance to shock and vibration.

"Our new based LED series use considerably less power than their incandescent counterparts and, with average lifespans of nearly 11 and a half years, virtually eliminate the routine maintenance or replacement that incandescent bulbs require, making them a much more energy-efficient and cost-effective indication solution for any application," said Andy Zanelli, CEO of VCC.

VCC's new T1-3/4 based LED series are available with wedge, midget flange, and midget groove bases and in 12, 24, and 28V versions.  Its T3-1/4 based LEDs are available with wedge or bayonet bases.  Wedge-based T3-1/4 LEDs are available in 12, 24, and 28V.  Bayonet-based T3-1/4 LEDs, which come in both single- and multi-LED configurations (i.e. three high-brightness LEDs in a single package), are available in 24, 28, 125, and 230V.  VCC's single LED T3-1/4 bayonet based lamps are also available in 12V.

VCC's based LED series are rated for storage and use in temperatures ranging from -40ºC to +85ºC and are available in five standard colors: red, green, yellow, blue, and clear or diffused white.  Custom colors are available upon request.
