Verbatim will exhibit its latest high performance range of VxRGB LED lamps for professional use and next generation of colour tunable VELVE OLED modules at Easyfair ELMÄSSAN Stockholm, a trade exhibition serving lighting specialists across Scandinavia held in Stockholm from 24-25 October. Verbatim exhibits at Stand D:03.
Although Verbatim is renowned as a pioneer in data storage, the brand’s roots in lighting date back over half a century. Backed by the expertise of Verbatim’s parent company Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC), the Verbatim portfolio of LED and OLED products can always be relied upon to deliver class-leading performance, compatibility and quality.

Courtesy of technology developed by MCC, Verbatim will demonstrate a new range of Vivid Vision™ MR16 GU5.3 LED spotlights with excellent colour accuracy ideal for food or jewellery displays, fitting rooms, museums and restaurants. Using a unique phosphor mixture, Vivid Vision LED lamps make the colour appearance of illuminated objects appear naturally vivid.

Jeanine Chrobak-Kando, Business Development Manager at Verbatim, notes: “Besides offering high quality lighting illumination and perfect colour luminance, Vivid Vision LED lamps are energy efficient, do not contain any hazardous materials, start instantly and are an excellent alternative to traditional halogen lamps.”

While these innovative LED lamps do not have a high Colour Rendering Index (CRI), Jeanine Chrobak-Kando continues to explain: “Many people tend to conclude that a high CRI score guarantees good colour appearance. However, this is not the case. Some light sources with a high CRI can present inaccurate colours while some lamps with a low CRI can deliver outstanding colour accuracy.”

Additionally, Verbatim will display the 7W MR16 GU5.3 lamp with 470 lumens output also suited to accent-lighting and background illumination. The company recently introduced an AR111 that offers 850 lumens output and an adapted short-form factor to aid retrofit use in retail locations.

Those visiting Verbatim’s stand will also be able to see the company’s latest dimmable and colour adjustable Organic LED (OLED) technology which can be used to create atmospheric lighting without hot spots, glare or uncomfortable intensity. The latest series of VELVE OLED modules from Verbatim is ideal for mood lighting. Each panel delivers luminance of 2,000 cd/m² at a colour temperature of 3000K – that’s twice as bright as earlier devices
