Compact 2D vision camera with deep learning app onboard
SICK has announced that it is launching its first vision camera with a pre-installed deep learning app onboard to make it simple to create custom quality inspections of complex electronics parts and surface mount assemblies.
Picosun increases efficiency for LED and OLED production
Picosun Group has proved to significantly increase the production efficiency of its LED and OLED customers with the PICOSUN P-300BV ALD system. Recent tests show that a reduced ALD process cycle time and an increased number of wafers deposited with the same film thickness resulted in almost 100% better throughput.
Fibre optic assemblies for high-power lasers
LASER COMPONENTS has been manufacturing high-power fibre optic assemblies for 25 years, specialising in individual custom solutions for industrial applications. In this area, laser powers of several hundred watts – cw – are not uncommon. To ensure that the fibre cables can withstand this load, LASER COMPONENTS relies on a mixture of technology and precision craftsmanship.
Handheld optical time domain reflectometer
Tempo’s Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) is a tool for the measurement and characterisation of fibres prior and during deployment in a network. It is a must for installation and maintenance with its additional all in one functionality, it includes an Optical Power Meter (OPM) and Visual Fault Locator (VFL).
White light source and IR emitter in one
The US manufacturer SLD Laser has launched the first white light chip with a switching function. On command, it transforms into an IR emitter with 905 and 850nm. Both light sources are housed on the same 7x7mm chip. SMDs are also available with a starboard to facilitate mounting onto the circuit board.
Ophir MWIR folded zoom lens with disruptive range
MKS Instruments has announced the Ophir LightIR 16-180mm MWIR f/3.6 continuous zoom lens, the newest addition to the LightIR family of lightweight, long-range, motorised continuous folded zoom lenses. The LightIR 16-180mm f/3.6 is a compact, thermal imaging lens optimised for smaller size 10µm pitch VGA FPA (focal plane array) detectors.
Controls-ready LED wall packs with field-selectable CCTs
MaxLite has introduced the next generation of WallMax Open Face LED Wall Packs with field-selectable CCTs, wattages and field-installable controls as a flexible and future ready outdoor lighting solution for electrical distributors and contractors.
Radiometric version of Boson thermal imaging camera
The Boson camera core is a FLIR high-performance uncooled thermal imaging technology within a small, lightweight, and low-power package, and now FLIR partners and customers will have the option to purchase radiometric versions that can capture the temperature data of every pixel in the scene.
Non-mydriatic Fundus cameras market to see 5% CAGR over 2019-2025
Propelled by the need for advanced ophthalmic imaging modalities and increasing inclination towards painless detection of eye disorders, fundus cameras market is gaining remarkable traction in the ophthalmic imaging arena. As per the Laser Eye Surgery Hub, about 330,000 cataract operations are performed per year in England alone. Such high incidence rate of severe ophthalmic disorders generate substantial demand for diagnosis, thus favoring fundu...
c-Max lighting controls and controls-ready LED fixtures
MaxLite has announced the launch of c-Max Lighting Controls, a patent pending design that makes it easy to add luminaire-level lighting controls to indoor and outdoor applications. By purchasing c-Max low voltage sensors along with MaxLite controls-ready luminaires, customers can reportedly achieve energy savings beyond LED conversion in the most simple and affordable way.
