AI-powered industrial cameras launched for Industry 4.0
Neurala has announced a collaboration with FLIR Systems to deliver a full software and hardware stack AI-based industrial imaging solution. Neurala’s vision AI software unlocks the power of deep learning with no-AI-expertise-required, and now supports the creation of neural networks that can be deployed directly onto FLIR Firefly DLcameras.
Pass/fail analysis of multi-fibre connectors in seconds
LASER COMPONENTS has announced that the FOCIS Lightning connector microscope provides a complete pass/fail analysis for a 12 or 24-fibre MPO connector and each individual fibre in just 15 seconds.
LEDs and indicators feature in Foremost component guide
A new LED Component and Indicator Guide covering products from MARL International is available at Foremost Electronics.
Radiation resistant lens for low light applications
Manufactured from specially selected non browning glass – the Model 313-000 radiation resistant fixed focus lens from Resolve Optics has an aperture of f/1.4 to enable as much light as possible to be gathered and transmitted to the sensor.
SpaceABLE optical modules for ARTES Scylight program
Reflex Photonics, a Smiths Interconnect company, was recently awarded a multimillion-dollar contract to deliver thousands of SpaceABLE 28 optical module devices to be used in high-throughput communication satellites (HTCS) that will be deployed into geostationary orbit.
New Yorker Electronics adds AI camera processing
New Yorker Electronics (NYE) is expanding its capabilities in the design and manufacture of high-end camera solutions with advanced AI processing from VVDN Technologies.
iC-Haus laser diode drivers at LASER COMPONENTS
LASER COMPONENTS has established long term supply partnerships with several of the world’s laser diode and laser diode driver suppliers. The company works closely with its partners to offer a comprehensive range of laser diodes and can assist in the design-in of appropriate laser drivers alongside laser diode products.
Phosphor technology LEDs deliver joint-boost
NICHIA has announced its H6 series. Implemented into NICHIA’s 3030 mid-power 757 package to start, the new family of phosphor technology LEDs delivers high multi-level boost in colour rendition and efficacy whilst maintaining the lifetime expected from NICHIA. The H6 series delivers a colour rendering index (CRI) of 90 while maintaining a level of efficacy seen in standard CRI 80 LEDs.
WL-SIQW high efficiency infrared light source
Würth Elektronik has complemented its infrared product range with the new WL-SIQW SMT Infrared QFN LED Waterclear product series. The LEDs in Quad Flat No Leads (QFN) format are available in 2720, 3535 and 3737 packages with different radiant intensities from 125 to 800 mW/sr and in 90°, 120° or 150° beam angles.
LiDAR systems based on integrated optical phased arrays
Taking a critical step toward developing LiDAR systems for widespread commercial applications, CEA-Leti has developed genetic algorithms to calibrate high-channel-count optical phased arrays (OPAs), as well as an advanced measurement setup enabling wafer-scale OPA characterisation.
