The LED light manufacturer GlacialLight, a sub-division of the experienced technology manufacturer GlacialTech Inc., launches its newly upgraded LED Sirius Series GL-MR16 (5WH) today, a perfect indoor solution for ornamental decoration, shop window lighting and spotlighting. This improved GlacialLight LED Sirius MR16 Series uses high efficacy LEDs at a very economical power consumption level of 5 watts. A LED driver with above 80% power conversion efficiency is built in, enabling these bulbs to replace traditional MR16 halogen lamps while providing significant power saving. GlacialLight is no doubt at the forefront when it comes to supplying clean, green LED technology.
/> The new LED Sirius MR16 (5WH) series is much more enhanced than current LED MR16 models available in markets today. Measuring 50x48.4mm in dimension and 30g in weight, the upgraded GlacialLight LED Sirius MR16 light bulbs with 5W power consumption come in two models – GL-MR1605WH-WW & GL-MR1605WH-CW – for warm-white and cool-white emitting colors. Both have a beam angle of 50°, and can be used on the standard GU5.3 socket with a 12V AC/DC input to conveniently replace traditional MR16 halogen lamps. The new MR16 (5WH) Series LED bulbs are rated at a 30,000hrs lifetime and come with 2 years warranty.

The differences between the two models are: GL-MR1605WH-WW has a Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) of 3000K while GL-MR1605WH-CW offers 5000K; the Luminous Flux of GL-MR1605WH-WW and GL-MR1605WH-CW are 250 lm and 360 lm, respectively; and finally, the warm white displays an illumination of 250 lux at 1m while the cool white bulbs are brighter with 360 lux at 1m.
