New Hamamatsu Ultra-Compact InGaAs PIN Photodiode in Chip on Board Package

Hamamatsu Photonics introduce the new G11777-003P InGaAs PIN photodiode, an ultra-compact near infrared detector available in a surface mount COB package. Compared to a conventional metal packaged detector, the size of the G11777-003P is drastically reduced, whilst still maintaining a 0.3mm diameter active area. Package dimensions are 0.8 x 1.6 x 0.8mm.

Hamamatsu Linear CMOS Image Sensor with Active Pixel Sensor Technology and Direct UV Sensitivity

Hamamatsu Photonics are proud to introduce the S11638 CMOS linear image sensor with APS (Active Pixel Sensor) technology. APS technology allows the S11638 to achieve a combination of a very high sensitivity, at 160 V/(lx•s), and a fast video data rate of 10 MHz. This is accomplished by simultaneously integrating charge for all pixels.

Detect Infrared With New High Sensitivity Single Element Thermopile Sensor

Hamamatsu Photonics have developed a brand new series of thermopile infrared detectors, to meet the demand for low cost sensors with high S/N for gas analysis applications. The T11262-01 is a high sensitivity thermopile sensor with a D* of 1.3x108. The sensor is housed within a compact TO-18 package with a high transmittance window in the 3-5µm band.

Hamamatsu Photonics Encoder Module

Hamamatsu Photonics introduce the P11159-01AS, a small, high resolution encoder module. This new optical encoder incorporates a 4 element photo IC and red LED, with a 2-phase digital signal output circuit. When using 0.2mm pitch slits, the P11159-01AS produces a 2-phase digital signal output that matches the slit movement. A high resolution of 50µm is achievable.

Hamamatsu Announces New Image Sensors For High-Precision, Real-Time Distance Measurement Systems

Hamamatsu Photonics K.K. has developed three new image sensors that feature a high-speed charge transfer structure in each pixel to enable high-precision TOF (time-of-flight) distance measurements. The S11961-01CR is the industry’s first linear image sensor for TOF distance measurement, and the S11962-01CR and S11963-01CR are area image sensors for 3D distance-measuring cameras.

New NIR Streak Camera for measurements up to 1650 nm

Hamamatsu Photonics introduce the new C10820 InGaAs linear image sensor driver board. Designed to control the G9494 high speed image sensor series, the C10820 features simple operation through its CameraLink interface, and requires only digital inputs for the start and clock pulses.
