A family of LED luminaires, suitable for a range of applications, has been introduced by Verbatim. With compact housing dimensions and an external power supply, the luminaires are suitable for lighting applications within hotels, restaurants, retail stores, offices and warehouses. The company claims that they are more energy and cost efficient than compact fluorescent or halogen alternatives.

The LED's, with a choice of 25° or 40° beam angle and an adjustable head, are suited to delivering accent and spot lighting to replace halogen downlights. They are 12W, dimmable and deliver up to 720lm output, with a luminous intensity of up to 3150cd. The luminaire's recessed downlights also serve as replacements for LED's with compact fluorescent lamps (CFL).

The family of LED luminaires are available in 11W, 12W, 15W, 21W and 24W power outputs, delivering a corresponding luminous flux of 600lm, 680lm, 800lm, 1300lm and 1600lm.
